Today is the last episode covering The Ivory, and I am feeling incredibly nostalgic as we wrap up this month-long journey.In this episode, we break down:The Grand Finale & The Begging Villain: We discuss the final chapters, which felt like a beautifully long, extended epilogue. When Angel leaves, Ivory's reaction is shocking—he actually forgets his beef with Velle and gets on his knees to beg for Angel's safety. We explore how finding love completely broke down his cold, cartel-leader defenses.The Island's New Management: Ivory finally surrenders his kingdom, leaving the mansion to Velle, Joy, Rook, Felix, and Lem , while he moves to Las Vegas to start fresh with Angel. We also recap all the weddings, happy endings, and proposals! The Final Critique: While the romance was comforting, I did not hold back on my critique of the book's structure. At 905 pages , the constant, confusing timeline jumps between past and present POVs really ruined the pacing for me.
