In the book of Esther, all the Jews in Persia had been sentenced to death by a man named Haman. But after Queen Esther stepped up and put her life on the line, Haman was exposed as the enemy, and sentenced to death himself. But even though he’s out of the picture, his death sentence against the Jews is still in place. And even after they wrote a neutralizing decree that allowed for the Jews to defend themselves, there’s an inevitable battle that’s going to happen.
