Does the Bible teach the Trinity and monotheism? Or was Trinitarianism just a later invention influenced by Hellenism? And is the Trinity a salvation issue? As Christians, we look at the Bible, and we have faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that it really happened. Every day, we have to choose between Jesus and ourselves. And this was the decision that Pilate had to make in John 19. Because he knew that Jesus was an innocent man who didn’t deserve to die. But he also knew that if he let Jesus go free, then people would hate him and he’d probably lose his job. Life isn’t fair. And this is very obvious as we look at this story in John 18 and 19.
