The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition continues to promote preventive healthcare through community outreach, as the La Clery Dental Clinic recently hosted a Health Expo for expecting mothers at the Vide Boutielle Community Centre. The initiative, held as part of activities to observe World Oral Health Day 2026, provided pregnant women with valuable information on the importance of maintaining good oral health during pregnancy and in the early stages of a child’s life. The session brought together healthcare professionals and members of the community for interactive presentations and discussions focused on proper dental hygiene, nutrition, and healthy habits that support the well-being of both mother and baby.
