Again, utilizing this rich metaphor that is replete throughout Scripture, Johnpresents a lamb slain that makes a way for the scroll to be opened. What is this scroll? The book of life that records all names of those who are God’s people. It is the death of the Lamb that makes a way for ‘persons from every tribe and language and people and nation’. This picture sets up a scene of absolute adoration, worship and praise. The death of Jesus has made a way.
