The last Property Duo episode [#19]

It's bye-bye from 'The Property Duo'.  It's our last episode of this series and boy was it emotional! But fear not, the Duo will be back in the form of a physical event coming soon!  This week's show may be topic-less, but we know there is (some) value in our ramblings! We talk about some crazy quoting from builders - how do builders quote projects, how did you get to the price mate? The cheapest price isn't always the best and may actually cause you problems later down the line.  Is it possible to project manage the build yourself and get this in on budget and time? The importance of putting together a trade team together and reviewing this, renew your trades team monthly. It's better to have 10 trade people per profession then 1 or 2.  We talk about the mental state and well being of both myself and Tej since lockdown started and how this has affected us both in different ways.  Revaluation and the surprise Tej got when his property was valued up higher than expected. Are valuations returning to normal, or was this just a one-off?  Have property education courses and trainers used lockdown to their advantage?
