With 15 years of business under my belt and having just achieved my 18 year long dream of writing a book, I'm realising that there's value in the long game. So often we are seeking instant gratification with thanks to social media, on demand services and online shopping. But sometimes, things take time. Although I've had this huge achievement of late, I can easily slip into what's next, hurry up and create something, and more, more, more. How can we take a longer term view with our work and know that we're going to get there - but doing it in a sustainable way is more important than rushing to the finish line. In this episode I share what I've learned so far from the book journey and how I'm taking the next quarter to slow it down and get strategic, so that I can keeping this life I love for a long time.
