Abraham trusts God’s promise, and the Lord provides a ram in Isaac’s place. The story points us to Jesus—the beloved Son whom God gave for us, the Lamb of God who takes away our sin. James 2 brings the challenge home: genuine faith takes shape in costly obedience, in everyday life and in hard times.
