The Love A Senior Center Project Kickoff- Wray, CO

With over 1 Million older adults being served in America each year by local senior centers, the need for the services will only continue to grow as the boomer tsunami strengthens. The need for senior centers and a central gathering place for social, informational, and instructional events is becoming more and more important than ever before.   The Love A Senior Center Project model was conceived by Carol Chiarito, founder of the non-profit Love A Senior Company. Conversations held at a visit home for a friend's funeral led to learning the needs of the Wray Seniors. The plan to roll out this project in her home town became obvious when a longtime friend and board member for the 55 and Over Club, asked for her presentation to the board.
