The Magicians, S02E03- Royal Elimination

Thank you so much to Nicole for commissioning this episode! I'm mad about most of what happens here, as should be obvious at this point, but I'm hopeful that some of the consequences we see here aren't permanent. This is when things really take off in terms of the attacks on both Big Bads, and it really does NOT go well. I wish so much that these fucking characters would sit down and fucking TALK to one another, because guess what...this is the shit that happens. Julia gets wrapped up in gloating over Reynard and doesn't kill him in time, Penny swoops in and grabs the Beast but Julia tags along so their attack on him fails, and overall everyone is getting in the goddamned way.
