Buyers are asking if prices will dip further. The Fed has a couple of meetings left this year, but any small shift in rates likely won’t have much effect on mortgage payments. Expect pricing to stay steady unless something dramatic changes. Sellers are wrestling with the “golden handcuffs.” Many locked in low mortgage rates and aren’t eager to list, which means inventory will likely remain lean through the holidays. If you do list, price it right—or risk sitting on the market. And don’t forget: if you’ve got a unicorn property (single-story in a two-story neighborhood, big lot, view, pool, unique layout), you’re holding gold.
