The Ministry Training of Spiritual or Character Formation

The intentional process of being shaped inwardly into the image of Christ so that ministry flows from character, intimacy with God, and spiritual maturity not just gifting or knowledge. It is the development of the inner life before the public life. The ultimate aim of Spiritual formation are the following; •Character is a mental and moral quality distinctive to an individual in the ministry. •Anointing attracts people, but character sustains the people. God can gather but your character can scatter the people. The special skill of dealing with people in all situations is required. •Sexual purity is very important and maturity in your dealings with people. •Spiritual formation impacts the way you think, behave, react to issues, deal with situations and deal with people. •Your character is a great indicator of whether you can do ministry or not. Therefore need to be intentional about developing character for ministry (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, Psalm 24:3-4).
