I recently read a post on Reddit (don’t judge me) and it definitely struck a nerve. It was about an addict in recovery who is doing very well and was being assisted by a cousin who allowed him to move in with him. That is, until recently when the cousin accused the poster of relapse and wouldn’t accept a drug test as proof and asked the poster to move out. It gets worse and i get into those details in this episode.  Further, a drug test is like a mirror to us addicts, whether in active addiction or in recovery. In active addiction, it. Is. Our worst enemy and forces us to face our addiction.
