The Mission Has a Church: The Mission has a Method

On Sunday, Pastor J-M continued our series "The Mission Has A Church Pt. II." Churches in North America (and the West more generally) have been in a period of decline for many years.  The wider culture continues the project of secularism - the adoption of new ways of thinking, believing and being that are pointedly not Christian. How should Christians respond to these widespread cultural changes?  Rather than reacting with fear (that leads to either fighting the culture or fleeing from it), another hopeful option is available: the recovery of the Mission of God as a way to understand the Trinity, the Bible, the Church, our relationship to culture and the nature of Christian justice and witness.
