The show is called the CATTLEYA KILLER, starring Arjo Atayde, Christopher de Leon, Ricky Davao just to name a few. It is a 6-episode tv series that takes place in the same universe as the 1996 hit film, Sa Aking Mga Kamay, starring Aga Muhlach and Christopher de Leon.The events in the tv show take place a couple decades later when women’s bodies started to show up dead in the capital yet again. The police are reminded of the Cattleya Killer but cannot figure out who is killing the poor women since the serial killer, Gene Rivera, was shot dead by Christopher de Leon’s character in the OG Cattleya Killer movie.I draw parallels and point out differences between the show and our case this week as both tackle serial killings involving vulnerable women.
