Due to travel, we’re taking a short break from new releases, but rather than leave you without an episode, we’re bringing back our coverage of the murder of Paul Schmidt, a shocking and deeply disturbing act of violence that unfolded in downtown Vancouver on March 26, 2023. In broad daylight, outside a busy Starbucks, Paul was attacked and killed following a brief confrontation while standing with his young daughter. The incident, which was partially captured on video and widely shared online, left a lasting impact on the public and raised difficult questions about violence, bystander behavior, and the justice system.
