The necessity of expository preaching in the church!

This episode explores the power and necessity of expository teaching—the faithful, verse-by-verse preaching of the Bible. Many of the errors we see in the church today arise because preaching has shifted from the text of Scripture to personal opinions, emotions, and experiences. What a preacher feels, what is happening in the congregation, or what was discussed in the counseling room too often becomes the Sunday sermon, rather than what God has spoken in His Word.May the Lord help us lay aside our opinions and return to the text of Scripture itself. As Paul reminds us:“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
