In this sermon we examine Jesus' primary reason in giving us the parable of the unjust steward. We highlight key lessons that the Lord Jesus taught us from this parable: Use money to build friendships. Be faithful and honest in little things. Be faithful in money. Be faithful in what is another persons'. Be faithful to God - you cannot serve two masters. We also consider parallel texts including Matthew 6:19-24 that teaches us about guarding our heart, and our eye, so we serve God, and not money. Our heart and vision (focus) must be on God.
