the path is narrow, but His freedom is eternal - By His Grace

from The Alma Y Tierra Podcast · host Claudia Howick

hello sweet souls & welcome to this monthly "By His Grace" segment with my sweet sister in Christ, Naomi.we’re two friends walking in faith together, who hope to captivate you with our conversation. in this segment we'll be praying together; sharing how God is moving in our lives; reflecting on how Jesus has shown us the true path in recent experiences; scripture that has captured us; insights that have humbled us and the raw reality of our faith, as best as we can.in today’s episode, we share our raw and real reflections on how we navigate living in “the world” as a follower of Christ. if you find yourself ruminating on the things that you have lost since becoming born again, whether that was ten weeks or ten years ago, then this episode is for you. i used the analogy of a tree, saying that sometimes we begin our walk with Jesus and, like a golden oak that has held on to its vibrant green leaves throughout Autumn, all to which we were holding suddenly drops and we are left bare; other-times, like the brazen birch whose leaves shed gradually from one season to the next, it takes a moment for the things of the world to slowly fall away but, when they do, we are once again left - bare. as Christians, we are heavily misunderstood, but how can we work with our Saviour to create a sense of understanding amongst ourselves and the world in which we live?Scripture referenced: Psalm 56, Matthew 19:23-26.love, blessings and light,Claudia & Naomi.
