THE POLITICS OF CHANGE: reform the current culture of violence, vulgarity and excesses to peaceful coexistence, prosperity and prudence

from The American Enterprise Manifesto: My America's Vision of Peace and Nonviolence for Humanism · host Jerry Rhoads

When the two party system fails us what's next.  What are the odds of a third party being able to compete for a swing vote for equity and equality in governance?  The answer I get is no way.  Why?  Because it takes money to compete and connections to get elected to any position ... national or local.  Even the school boards are politicized.  What if there is enough voting power to make it feasible? When the two party system failing us what are the odds of a third party being able to compete for a swing vote for equity and equality in governance?  The answer I get is no way.  Why?  Because it takes money to compete and connections to get elected to any position ... national or local.  Even the school boards are politicized.  What if there is enough voting power to make it feasible?  Can 200 million enterprising Americans out vote the Reds and the Blues and the Black Lives Matter political parties?  Maybe the power of what's right and wrong may be enough to raise enough money to be competitive.   If not, we are destined to implode financially, morally and economically.  Why is the two party system failing us and how do we fix it?  This podcast is the start of a series of new presentations to support a movement towards a three party system.  It's a vision of "My America" for the greater good of our Great American Enterprise prevailing over our current institutional form of government that erodes values, life expectancy and peaceful coexistence in America and the world.  What was the purpose of the 2020 protests and anarchy.  A revolt against America's haves by have-not’s? Was (is) it for stealing or appealing for a change in the pecking order, or is it the plea of the black families suffering from injustices from police enforcement or the squalor they live in versus the suburbs. Or a failure in our political agendas that continue to ignore the problems of city life in the neighborhoods and slums versus the inequality of opportunity of education, health care, jobs and prosperity promised in the American Constitution. Or all of these combined to justify anarchy and/or revolution. What was the reason for the French revolution, the white American revolution of 1776, and the Black American revolution of 2020? It's all of the above. The many demanding the freedom they have been promised in the American constitution to be free to pursue opportunity that truly exists in all villages, cities, neighborhoods, regardless of gender, race, religion or political opinion.  Not a degrading of our police who enforce the Rule of Law and our constitution nor allowing injustice to prevail when enforcement goes too far.
