The Power of Positive Mindset with Mitzi Campbell (Episode 369)

from Enlightenment of Change

"Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful." ― Roy T. Bennett YouTube: Check Out These Highlights:  I chose this quote today because I loved the four words Roy used to articulate his message: believing, trying, learning, and being grateful. Wow, that is a powerful set of four words we should live by.  You may have a mindset issue if you don't believe in yourself, your community, your family, or your work team.  Showing up and committing to doing your best daily is all we can ask of ourselves and the people around us. I often teach that we are dying slowly if we aren't learning and growing each day! The last word is grateful. Well, I feel that there isn't enough gratitude in the world. We choose to see what we lack rather than all the blessings we have. I don't believe this skill is easy to develop and maintain. It requires effort, commitment, and work.   Would you like to learn how to use your mind to shape your perception and change your life through practical positivity and science-backed mindset practices? If you answered yes, today is a good day to listen to the show. About Mitzi Campbell:  Mitzi has spent over thirty-five years in education. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
