The Power of the Pause

Recently I was pondering on the idea of reacting vs responding and I believe the difference between the two is the pause. Viktor Frankl said, “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” When you use that space after a stimulus to pause, we give ourselves room to respond instead of react.
