Seasons of Joy

Hello, friends! Welcome to the Seasons of Joy podcast. My name is Jill Pack. I am a certified life coach and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Do you find yourself as more of a spectator of your life instead of a participant? Do you wish you could experience more joy, love and connection? Have you entered a new season of life and are wondering how to navigate it? I am here to show you that it is possible to create a life you love. You can find joy in any season or circumstance and, in the process, strengthen the relationship you have with yourself, with others and with God one adventure at a time.

Three Doorways: The 3 Triads of the Enneagram

If you've ever been in conflict with someone you love and you felt like the two of you aren't even speaking the same language, this episode is for you. We are going to be talking about the doorway your conflict tends to walk through. Jill Pack introduces the Enneagram's three triads—Body, Heart, and Head—showing the core emotions that drive each (anger, shame, and fear) and how those responses shape conflict. She explains why regulation must start where your nervous system leads (in the body, in honest emotional contact, or by grounding from the head) and how this awareness can change the way you relate. Listen to learn how to notice which doorway your conflict uses, prepare for three follow-up episodes that explore each triad in depth, and begin using this map to move from conflict to connection in your relationships. 📚 Resources mentioned: The Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron & Suzanne Stabile The Wisdom of the Enneagram by Don Richard Risso & Russ Hudson enneagraminstitute.com truity.com 🎙️ Seasons of Joy Podcast with Jill Pack | Episode 202 ✨ Life + relationship coaching for midlife women of faith Want More Clarity? Easter: Why Any of This Works

What actually makes the tools of personal growth and conflict transformation work? In this Easter episode, life + relationship coach Jill Pack gets honest about the answer: it's not the framework. It's never just been the framework. In Episode 197, Jill shares how her journey through identity, marriage, motherhood, and the empty nest led her to one conviction — that grace is the source of real change, and joy is its fruit. She explores how the inner work of seeing yourself clearly, accepting where you are, and learning to trust yourself isn't separate from faith. It is faith. If you've ever wondered why self-awareness matters spiritually, or how loving yourself well makes you better at loving others — this episode is for you. 🌿 Topics covered: Why conflict transformation always flows inward first The connection between grace, joy, and the C.A.R.E. framework What Easter means for the women still figuring it out Loving without gripping — in marriage, parenting, and the empty nest He didn't rise after we got our act together. He rose in the middle of our mess. Want More Clarity? Sharing Light Through Art with Kate Lee

Have you ever stood in front of a piece of art and felt something you couldn't quite put into words? Not just appreciation — but something deeper. Something that made you feel seen? That's exactly what happens when people encounter the work of today's guest, watercolor artist Kate Lee. Kate paints Christ-centered images — and what makes them so distinctive is that the figures in her paintings don't have faces. That's intentional. She wants you to be able to place yourself in the painting. To feel like you belong there. Because her whole life's work is about helping people believe — really believe — that they are known, loved, and not forgotten. In this conversation, Kate shares how a quiet nudge from the Spirit sent her from swim coach to full-time artist, how submitting her work to Deseret Book led to something she never could have planned, and how painting has become one of her most sacred ways of drawing closer to the Savior. She also talks about her newest book, The Gift of the Seed — a beautiful Easter story about how loved we truly are. This is a conversation about courage, about listening, and about what happens when we stop hiding our gifts and start sharing them. More about Kate Lee: Kate Lee is a Deseret Book watercolor artist. She was picked up by Deseret Book in 2018 for her minimalistic style paintings of the Savior. Kate is married to her best friend Mike and together they have two boys Jackson and Cooper. They have lived in Layton Utah for the past 12 years and love being close to the mountains. Kate is not only a watercolor artist, but an avid mountain biker, hiker, adventurer. Her and her little family try to soak up as much Mother Nature as they can. Being outside helps Kate to feel grounded and more connected with her Heavenly Parents and Savior. Some of her greatest inspirations have come because of the time spent in nature. Kate loves people and loves to hug those people. She feels she was blessed with a 6 foot wingspan to hug those around her and help others feel the love the God has for them. She loves her Savior. She loves this gospel. And she hopes to spread light as she goes through out her life. Website: https://katelee.art Instagram: @kate_lee_art The Gift of the Seed  Connecting with Christ:  Want More Clarity? Other People's Emotions

This episode explores why we often take on family members' emotions and how that habit creates stress and disconnection. Jill Pack explains the difference between caring and taking responsibility for someone else's feelings, using personal stories and a scriptural example of compassionate presence. You'll learn practical steps to respond differently: notice when you’re carrying emotions that aren’t yours, ask what the other person needs, and practice offering presence instead of solutions. The episode also outlines three supportive actions—normalize, validate, and empathize—that help loved ones process emotions without you trying to fix them. By creating space for others to feel, you can deepen relationships, reduce your own distress, and offer more genuine support. Want More Clarity?
