"The Principals Office", Part 3 of Handling Conflict - King David Style (with bonus material)

*** Bonus content at end.Maybe you were better than me in school, and somehow managed to avoid the principals office.   Good for you!!  This week I am taking a look at my last trip to the principals office, my senior year of high school... and it reminded me of a few characters in the bible who landed in the ultimate principals office ... King David and King Saul.This episode will contrast how each of these two kings responded when they sinned against God.  BONUS CONTENT:   additionally, there are 3 extra pieces of info that came up in the study that I want to share....   they have to do with some of the geography and historical uses of the region we will be discussing..... I found it to be quite interesting, and it brought a fuller understanding of the text, but alas.... I have boxed myself in with the time frame!!!   So, hit pause if necessary, and come back later and listen in then, or plow right on through.   Also, in this study I came across what appeared to be a discrepancy  between two texts that were telling the same story.  So I wanted to take a moment to show how to work through these hiccups when they arise.   If you like biblical history, and getting into the back stories of the old testament, then you'll enjoy this one!!!
