The Problem With Cycle Syncing and The Myth Of A Perfect Cycle

from Wild Flow with Charlotte Pointeaux · host Charlotte Pointeaux

Cycle syncing is an amazing concept coined by Alisa Vitti that invites us to understand how our cycle shifts and changes, how we have different energies, qualities, strengths and vulnerabilities across the phases, and then shows us how we can align the tasks of our lives to best harness and flow with those energies. I adore this concept and share it widely with clients and in my courses and experiences because it stops us from living in a linear way and instead teaches us how to embrace the way we aren't the same each day. However I'm also really starting to notice a lot of people struggling to cycle sync because when someone does have have an archetypal 28-day menstrual cycle that's the same every month: regular, predictable, and experienced just as the books say it should be, it can leave you feeling not good enough. Yes, having shame about not having a 28-day cycle is becoming a real thing and I really want to offer a new way of cycle syncing that invites you to embrace and embody your own unique cycle experience, instead of finding another way of not being the ideal human. In this solo episode I bring the fire, bust some myths, and share why I believe it can actually be really powerful to show up in our most tender moments of our cycle, instead of locking ourselves away for half the cycle, so we can normalise and create a new relationship to the dark feminine. I shared on:What the myth of a 28-day perfect cycle is and why its causing harm to try to be something you're not,How we can make cycle-syncing logic our own to suit our own unique cycle,How to create balance if you have no rest time when you bleed, and how it isn't all doom and gloom from therein, Why we need to have a posse around us who gets it, is here for the convo, can listen, support and help you keep living cyclically when the world around us constantly pushes us to tune out and override ourselves. Why I created my new 4 month group experience Cycle Sorcery: and how it's a powerful container for people who want to honour their cycle but on their own terms!Discover more about Cycle Sorcery:All about the juicy journey I created for you, and Book a chat to ask me your Qs to decide if this is right for youReady to go deeper?Free Quiz: recognise the leadership frequency you naturally embody, where you still second-guess it, and the shadow edge that keeps your authority from fully landingAbundant and Embodied: my signature self-led embodiment program for soul-led women ready to turn on their magnetism, drop the hustle, and lead from their deepest power, pleasure, and purpose.Feminine CEO Frequency: watch the core Masterclass for sacred space-holders, coaches and healers ready to elevate your medicine, sacred authority, and money in a business model that holds you - so you don't have to hold it all.Until next time my love,Charlotte Instagram: @charlotte.pointeauxwww.charlottepointeaux.com
