The Problem with the Media

Between Tucker Carlson doing an entire prime time segment on the brown M&M's shoes, to The New York Times printing deceptive clickbait titles and op-eds from known liars because they think it’ll sell, to major corporations systematically buying up and dismantling our entire media structure in the shadows, something has clearly gone wrong with media in America. This episode takes a look at how our media got off track, what we should be looking out for, and why we should be demanding better laws, stronger repercussions and more personal accountability. We need to be thoughtful about what we’re reading and watching and seeing because the way we’re going now is completely unsustainable. Please RATE and SUBSCRIBE so we can grow the show, open the dialogue and inspire better change moving forward! All my links here!: https://linktr.ee/politicsgirlThank you to today’s sponsors!Apostrophe: http://www.Apostrophe.com/politicsgirlBluBlox: http://www.BluBlox.com/politicsgirlWondrium: http://www.Wondrium.com/politicsgirlThe PoliticsGirl Podcast is a Meidas Touch original podcast produced by Happy Warrior Entertainment. Thanks to Julia Lee Stander for additional research. SOURCES:https://civilrightscorps.orghttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-meidastouch-podcast/id1510240831?i=1000548189194https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-the-fourth-estate-3368058https://www.amazon.com/How-Fascism-Works-Politics-Them/dp/0525511830https://medium.com/chompsky/how-to-fix-the-media-919c3a969f1https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/dec/09/whats-really-wrong-mainstream-mediahttps://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2022/01/21/media-journalism-future-527294https://bettermarketing.pub/whats-wrong-with-the-media-and-how-we-can-fix-it-3383a28288a0Remember to subscribe to ALL the Meidas Media Podcasts:MeidasTouch: https://pod.link/1510240831Legal AF: https://pod.link/1580828595The PoliticsGirl Podcast: https://pod.link/1595408601The Influence Continuum: https://pod.link/1603773245Kremlin File: https://pod.link/1575837599Mea Culpa: https://pod.link/1530639447Zoomed In: https://pod.link/1580828633
