The Purpose of the Church: Love One Another

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in 1 Corinthians 13  and Revelation 2 today. What is love? If you ask the world, they will give you a totally different definition. The biblical definition is unconditional. Love is an action, something that we are commanded to do. Jesus demonstrated the ultimate act of love by giving His life for our salvation. The world would tell us not to love those who hurt us, and place many conditions as to how and when to love. In revelation, God called out a specific church on this, and many churches have fallen into the same trap. Without love, we are just wasting our time. How are you loving one another? “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
