The Real Sober Moms with Melissa

Like so many of us, alcohol was ever present in Melissa’s life as she was growing up. Though it didn’t hold much interest for her when she was young, its constant presence eventually sucked her in when she was in college. And, as the years went on, it became a centerpiece in her life. Whenever Melissa’s drinking began to feel like too much, she turned to moderation as a way to cope. Yet time and time again, alcohol simply crept back in until it was just as much of an issue as it had been before. Finally, after a very careful attempt at moderation ended in failure, she decided there was only one other way: to quit completely. Melissa is now 66 days sober!
