The Reason Most Christian's Don't Walk In Power

from Mighty Wind TV Podcast (audio) · host Mighty Wind Broadcasting Network TV

The reason most Christian's don’t walk in power is because they rejoice in what they think is their ability. They should be rejoicing in their identity in Christ. Ability is a natural byproduct of a right heavenly identity. When your identity is right your ability is strong. Devils should be saying, “A Christian made me do it!” Jesus gave the 70 disciples the same power and authority to heal the sick and cast out demons. Luke 10:17 when the 70 returned to Jesus they said with joy, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” They said to the demon go and it left. They told the devil to shut up and it did Come out and it did, Sickness leave and it did. Demons should be telling Satan I can’t go a Christian bound me. Step on that snake and advance! Luke 10:19 & 20 "Behold I give you authority to trample (tread) on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven." Don’t rejoice that demons obey you, of course they do! Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like lighting from heaven.” Instead, rejoice in your identity which is Christ in you! With properly placed identity, your ability is where is should be resting in the power of the Holy Spirit. Take your authority and make those demons obey you!
