The Redemptive Outworking of the Covenant at Sinai through Yeshua

Engage your senses and imagine yourself at Mt Sinai and the glory of God. Israel's call at Sinai has not been to privilege and rulership, but to witness, martyrdom, and service. The covenant is consummated at Sinai, Ex 19:5 "Now therefore if ye will hearken unto My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be Mine own treasure from among all peoples; for all the earth is Mine;" Ex 19:8 "And all the people answered together, and said:'All that the LORD hath spoken we will do.'" Ex 19:16 "And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of a horn exceeding loud; and all the people that were in the camp trembled." God set boundaries around the mount and the fear of God, reverential awe, upon the people Ex 19:21 "lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish." In Deuteronomy 18, Moses prophesizes the prophet, Yeshua, in response to the people's fear at Sinai. Deut 18:16, "according to all that thou didst desire of the LORD thy God in Horeb (Sinai)in the day of the assembly, saying:'Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.'" Hebrews 12:28-29 "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be moved, let us be gracious, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire."
