Episode 126. Woah, we had leaders from the Reebok 10k Task Force up on the show in anticipation for their big event on Monday, October 14th. For those who don't know: The Reebok 10k for Women is a 40+ year old race that takes place annually in the city, and celebrates female independence and athletic achievement (that was the best way we could sum it up, the check out their website for more info). Shouts out to Andrea Kohanna (Global Marketing Strategist at Reebok) and T.K. Skenderian (of Conventures Inc.) for coming up onto the podcast and explaining the meticulous planning that goes into planning a city-wide event like the 10k. T.K. works for a third party event management company called Conventures, which was hired by Reebok to effectively plan and market the 10k, and Andrea oversaw making sure that the race is in line with Reebok's global and local brand strategy.
