In 2017, Amy Garhan released, “Stepping Off the Relationship Escalator: Uncommon Love and Life,” about a societal assumption that in relationships, you have to follow an order to ensure that the relationship is valid as defined by society. Is it for everyone? Josh and Jo discuss the prospects of jumping back onto the escalator. And... why do some think having intercourse can be followed by expectations of commitment?  Josh shocks Jo a few times. How do we ask, “Where is this going?” without looking like an a$$. Do we really WANT the PERSON we’re seeing or are we just constantly plugging people into our desired/perceived relationship destination? Is this fair?  Jo thinks Josh makes a Di@k statement then UNdi@ks because his explanation made total sense.
