The Salmonberry Run 2024

During our run, we discussed the meadow's plants and insects, noting how taller plants could avoid being eaten. We found and tasted a salmonberry, which was delicious but needed to ripen more. We talked about the health benefits of running compared to medication, despite some physical discomforts. Crossing creeks and navigating muddy trails, we appreciated the sun and hoped for trail drainage after the rain. Finally, we planned our route, including Glen Denning and Churchill Drive, aiming to maintain a good pace and enjoy the journey.
