David believes this 2020 MLB season is very much in jeopardy, not even so much because of the financials, but because of the Coronavirus. Right now what the players will be offered is one year deals. There is even uncertainty as to whether or not there will be fans in stands in 2021. In our lifetime we have never seen anything like this in sports. From a negotiating standpoint MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is getting an A, but from a public relations standpoint he is at about a C. He’s paid to be that A in negotiating, the public relations comes second.
