But now you must              also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy               language from your lips. Put on the new nature that is renewed in knowledge of our Creator         a. focus on being trustworthy          b. focus on putting on the new self               which is evidenced by the Holy Spirit’s presence. love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness,   goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another, and forgive as you have been forgiven Put on Love  Paul Teaches Then About Marriage          a.  Paul takes 17 verses to talk about individual examination and preparation and 2 verses on               marriage          b. Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.           c. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
