When the emotional darkness falls, quote Scripture and meditate on the truth of it. Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Lies ·        l can't cope in this cold, dark dreary time. ·        This gloom is killing me. ·        Life is not worth living. ·        I'm never going to see the sun again. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Truth * I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ·        God ordained this winter; He will get me through it. ·        Christ is my life -- all year long. ·        Spring will come. Summer will come.
