The Smooth Operator - The British GP Review

Silverstone, the home of Formula 1 and once again it delivered a race for the ages. Yes we were back in the beautiful UK for the British GP where it was the smooth operator himself who broke through for his maiden win. A of two cities. Ferrari triumphant as Sainz claimed the top step but a poor strategy call again thew away a 1/2. Verstappen took a points hit and an Alpha Tauri endplate to match but after falling to the back Perez did Perez things and almost stole it. Hamilton rose yo the occasion as the 7 time champion look destined to shock and awe on home soil. But a solid 3rd still left questions, could he have won and are Mercedes actually back? The Halo saved the day once again as Zhou and Russell came to blows with the rookie surviving one of the most spectacular crashes we have seen. If Halo haters still exist then after this week they shouldn't. And finally amongst all that chaos it was Schumacher who took his maiden points. A 19th to 8th drive cheered on by all that was surely the feel good hit of the summer so far.
