The Bean family lived in Scottland during the 16th century and were headed by Sawney Bean and "'Black" Agnes Douglas. Reportedly there were up to 48 family members all living in a cave, with one of their main food sources was in fact local missing travelers from the surrounding communities. The family's total body count is estimated to have been around 1,000 people.
