It was the same day I bought The Electric Prunes self titled record, & The Psychedelic Sounds of The 13th Floor Elevators.After this little CD haul nothing would or could, for that matter, ever be the same again. And I've been chasing the high ever since. They shaped a huge part of my infatuation with the underground scene & how so many "one hit wonders" are absolutely nothing of the sort. Strawberry Alarm Clocks' catalog is a timeless dance through the ages & they have influenced generations of musicians attempting to capture their exceptionally, pure sunshine psyche pop tone. Their new album out August 7th "Where's One", thoroughly compliments that original sound flawlessly while still taking a slight step into the modern world, & yet continuing to maintain their gloriously original "period correct-ness" & jangle acid psychedelic sensibilities.IT RULES!!We'll be chatting about the past, present & future for all you psychonauts out there in radioland.
