The Strength to Belong | Sandrine Ray OLY

from The Shift Conversations · host The Shift Conversations

At eight years old, Sandrine Ray OLY dreamed of playing ice hockey at the Olympic Games. At the time, it seemed impossible; women’s ice hockey wasn’t even an Olympic sport. When people told her that she, and women like her, didn't belong, she chose to follow her passion anyway. Twenty years later, she represented Switzerland at the Turin 2006 Olympic Games.Today, as a sports chaplain, she supports athletes on their journey pursuing their own dreams. Listen to this inspiring conversation about perseverance, purpose, and the power of believing in what others say cannot be done.
