The Struggle Is Real

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Mark 1 today. This Gospel was unique in that it was written by a boy that was closely associated with the apostles years later. Because of this, chapter 1 is filled with several quick stories. One of the first stories after his baptism is that of Jesus being tempted in the wilderness. God allowed this so that He could prepare Jesus for ministry. We face struggles and temptations everyday, and if you aren’t struggling with something, are you even living your life for Jesus? “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
