The Sykesville Monster and The Wendigo - The Castro Files 8

Welcome to The Castro Files. This week we have stories about two types of Cryptids. The Sykesville Monster, otherwise known as the Yucca Man, Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or the Skunk Ape. And the Wendigo, a possession of sorts that drives a person to cannibalism. Thanks for tuning into the show this week. Story 1: Stories of the Sykesville Monster originated in the 1970's in Sykesville, MD located just outside of Balitmore, MD. There were several sightings of the Sykesville Monster of a very short period of time drawing the attention of local and state authorities. Story 2: The Yucca Man - Located near the Joshua Tree National Park, not far from Marine Corps base 29 Palms, there are stories of the Yucca Man. A blue or sometimes red eyed seven-foot-tall, hairy creature that terrorizes people throughout Southern California. Is the Yucca Man what many of us would call Big Foot, you be the judge. Story 3: The Wendigo is terrifying. Whether it's a possession, psychosis, or a real thing, it is real and it is documented. The Wendigo causes a person to forgo eating available food and in turn crave human flesh, cannibalism. This is a story that may turn your stomach, but it's worth the listen.
