The Temple Mount Project: Herod's Temple Part Two

As we studied last week, Herod remodeled and expanded Zerubbabel’s Temple into the largest and most elaborate temple in the surrounding area. While we don’t know exactly what the temple looked like, we can form an idea based off four sources: historical records, other architectural structures built by Herod, buildings from that same period, and the archaeological evidence that they are finding on the Temple Mount.
