In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the latest Pittsburgh Steelers news, and that includes the recent topic of retired NFL DT Aaron Donald working this offseason with new S Jaquan Brisker. ESPN's annual offseason position rankings continue rolling out based on polls conducted with NFL coaches, scouts, and executives so we discuss Steelers DT Cameron Heyward slotting outside the top 10 at his position. We discuss whether Heyward was slighted in this year's defensive tackle rankings and we look back at where he ranked a year ago in such rankings. The Friday ESPN rankings centered around the tight end position, so we go over Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth not making the top 10. As part of that discussion, Alex and I discuss the weight that TE Darnell Washington has dropped this offseason and if that should be a concern when it comes to his run blocking abilities. Alex recently wrote about the Steelers 2026 candidates for the upback position on the punting team, so we go over the list of players from that post. We also attempt to whittle down his list to four primary and legitimate candidates for that job opening this summer. After thoroughly discussing the latest topical subjects and news concerning the Steelers, Alex and I talk in-depth about six more players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series.
