The Third Eye of Recovery: Mindfulness, Meditation and Music - With Brandhi Irvon

from Rude Dude Recovery

This week the dudes sit down with a very special guest Brandhi Irvon, a musician and counselor at Jacob’s Ladder residential drug and alcohol treatment facility. We ask Brandhi about mindfulness and meditation and how its important to recovery, and he gives some tools and real world examples of how you can use them both in daily life. We also ask him how he believes integrating music into the curriculum can help the clients in their recovery. Brandhi explains his family history of addiction and we talk about a time he dealt with racism at the facility and how he was able to approach it from a place of love.If you would like to support Jacobs Ladder please go to jacobsladderbrookside.comThe meditation Brandhi spoke about: https://youtu.be/Xco3UjLLvGo Jacobs Ladder TV https://youtube.com/@jacobsladdertv7649?si=wdGX2VvaYq4aGZutHenry's JL song: https://youtu.be/96QrFqawPx0?si=ngxYvyZ7VqDoGxJD
