“The Throne Room Of God” Revelation 4:1-11

In Revelation 1:19 Jesus gives a the outline for the entire book of Revelation. Chapter 1 describes the things which are seen; Chapters 2 & 3 describes the things which are; of which include the letters to the 7 churches; and now, chapter 4 begins the longest section of the book - the things which will take place after this. Prior to the events of the 7 year tribulation, which will be described in chapters 6 thru 19, John is called up to the throne room of God in heaven. There, he sees the throne of God and experiences the heavenly worship of the one who sits on the throne. Because of the one on the throne we are assured that he is in control of everything.
