For 13 straight days, they fed their pits, slept in their trucks, and served 120,000 hot meals to families and first responders. It wasn’t just about BBQ. It was about bringing comfort, dignity, and hope when everything else was lost. Another part of their mission is Camp OBR™ which extends beyond disaster relief, showing what the healing power of BBQ looks like. Nestled on 192 acres at Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks, it’s a retreat for military, veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families to recharge, reconnect, and heal. Through culinary therapy, outdoor adventures, and moments of reflection, Camp OBR™ offers hope, strength, and lasting memories for heroes and their loved ones.
