In this lesson, Works of Mormonism, we start our series The Twisted Scriptures by examining how passages of God’s Word are misused to support the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We expose the ways in which Scripture is taken out of context to promote a works-based path to salvation, contrasting these distortions with the true gospel revealed in the Bible. Through careful study, we uncover the dangers of adding to or altering God’s Word and reaffirm the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice for our salvation.
