This week in The Labia Lounge I invited Bonnie Bliss, my teacher, mentor, dear friend, and THE creator of Yoni Mapping Therapy - The Bliss Method! She's kinda a big deal, yo!We didn't talk about the expected Yoni-related shiz though, oh nooo, we got stuck into some pretty polarising and controversial topics. Namely, the peer pressure, judgement, shaming, and utter wankiness that can be found in the "conscious community" and some of our personal experiences being part of the sacred sexuality/tantra scene in spiritual communities over the years.We shed light on some of the irresponsible and downright traumatising stuff that can go on in those spaces, tell some hilarious and fascinating stories from our own journeys, and discuss how after all of that, we've reclaimed our inner VANILLA!This isn't a spiritual-bashing episode at all, simply a quirky, honest, and thought-provoking conversation about some of the benefits, as well as some of the pitfalls, that one can encounter on a spiritual path and in neo-tantric, westernized pseudo-spiritual circles.
