In 2003 he published the book Discovery of Atlantis: The startling case for the Island of Cyprus. The book received international coverage and led to two highly publicized, scientific expeditions in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to find the remains of Atlantis (The Garden of Eden) as described in The Urantia Book. His specialty is comparative mythology and world religions. One of his most tenacious studies concerns the inevitability that The Urantia Book will create a new religion.
